Mentrx Mastermind By Reagn Kawuma| There is the world you know, and the market you are called to serve |Tenex News Events

Time is a currency you can’t earn back, so spend it where growth, clarity, and connection live.

Oh, how time flies when you’re in the right room.

Three months, sixteen powerhouse women, countless insights, one unforgettable inaugural cohort. What started as a mastermind became a movement, not just in business strategy, but in sisterhood. A rare space where collaboration trumped competition, where voices were heard, and where laughter and real talk flowed as freely as our Google Meets. And somewhere between the frameworks, the fire, and the Canva tutorials… my Sayun coffee levels dropped to ground zero. (Not even one virtual delivery, Reagan? A diaspora coffee service maybe? At least jet me over a bag, or three ☕ But I digress.)

💡 There is the world you know, and the market you are called to serve.

By this point in a post that put me on blast, someone’s followers, you’ve probably guessed, Yes, I was the sole diaspora attendee of the Mentrx Mastermind. And lucky me… I just happened to be in town for the in-person gathering that would inaugurate the “maiden flight” cohort #1. ✨ That moment? Golden. I got to put faces to the phenomenal women who would become my peer circle, those I’d be building with across Google Meets, WhatsApp, and shared ambition. To sit in real space with such brilliance, warmth, and power, what a treat.

As a diaspora founder, my businesses operate thousands of miles away from Latitude Zero, the Pearl of Africa, but my heart, and my mission, are deeply anchored here.

Having left in the early ’80s, the times were different. Now, here in the 21st century, so much has shifted, in culture, communication, and how value is received and recognized. And in this new landscape, no amount of distance learning can substitute for hands-on understanding, being close enough to feel the rhythm of the market as it truly is now.

My life abroad, my home away from home, has given me perspective, but my deepest goal has always remained: to empower women here through meaningful, transformative work. This mastermind gave me exactly that, a window into the nuance of this market, the cultural cues, the trust triggers, the pace. It allowed me to reflect, refine, and update my message and methods, so that what I offer doesn’t just succeed globally, it also resonates deeply and respectfully here at home.

The Mentrx Mastermind was an unexpected opportunity, and in many ways, a gift.

A gift to my business goals, A chance to sit front row to a circle of peer entrepreneurs, women striving and thriving in remarkable, courageous, brilliant ways. And a rare moment to experience what happens when one clear-eyed steward helms a ship with focus, finesse, and deep respect for the diverse visions on board.

What Reagan Kawuma offered wasn’t just intel insight, it was Africa-specific market intelligence.

A lens into how existing business expertise, developed miles away, can be translated, adapted, and positioned for relevance and resonance in this specific context. He held space for deep inquiry, encouraged strategic recalibration, and modeled what it looks like to lead with both structure and soul. To the phenomenal coaches who anchored this experience with wisdom, clarity, and presence, thank you. Your impact was real, and your contributions unforgettable.

To Reagan Kawuma, thank you for stewarding this experience with integrity, clarity, and care.

I'm grateful not only for what I gained in perspective and strategy, but also for the professional kinship and mutual respect that emerged along the way. Here’s to more purpose-driven growth, and to building bridges that matter, across sectors, across markets, across the diaspora.

Now... to everyone who missed Cohort #1? Tough one. You missed the best, the boldest, the pioneers. We walked so the rest of you could run (you’re welcome 😎).

But, good news. You can do the next best thing, Come get in the room. The view from the front row is something else.

Reagan Kawuma is a rare kind of leader, equal parts strategist, translator of market nuance, and steward of powerful rooms. As a diaspora founder, I came into the Mentrx Mastermind with a solid business and a clear mission. What Reagan offered wasn’t reinvention , it was clarity: how to refine, localize, and lead with context. With a steady, insightful hand, he guided each of us toward sharper vision and deeper impact. I highly recommend Cohort #2 to any visionary ready to lead with purpose and precision.
